Just for Fun

There's no such thing as an atheist in a foxhole (R. Lee Ermey on "religious honchos"):

Two parents view themselves as engaged in the Work, and they are spending a lot of time away from their children.

Beginning to feel guilty, they take their children aside, and they try to explain how hard they are working on themselves and how they are making progress.

Stunned silence settles over the children, until it is broken by the boy:  "Gaw! What were you like before?"

[Actual story is somewhere in Jessmin and Duska Howarth's  "It's Up to Ourselves"].

As I can relate to Chevy Chase as President Ford, I just posted this on my own blog.  Like him, it was my understanding that there would be no math....
